Russian Business Mission to Algeria
On September 20, 2017, the Russian Business Mission to Algeria was successfully hosted by the Russian Export Center, the Russian-Arab Business Council on the margins of the Eighth Meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Algerian Commission for Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation at the El Aurassi Hotel and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the African Republic (CACI) with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the RF Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Ministry the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation and the Russian Embassy in the Russian Democratic Republic.
The Russian official part was presented by the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, the Co-Chairman of the Russian-Algerian SMPK Alexander Novak, as well as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the IAD, I.A. Belyaev.
The organizers of the mission were represented by the Director for Priority Country Projects of JSC Russian Export Center RA Cherkesov, the Director of the Business Projects, Tenders and Investments Department of the Russian-Arab Business Council (RABC), the Executive Director of the RALDS Svetlana Kovalevskaya. The Algerian official part was presented by the Minister of Finance of the ADR, Abderrahman Rauia.
The organizers from the Algerian side were represented by the First Vice-President of the CCI of the ADR Riyad Amur and the Director General of the CCI of the Andrzej Bakhlul Uahib.
Algerian participants included representatives of the ministries and departments of Algeria, more than 300 representatives of companies-members of the CCI of ADR, as well as representatives of state corporations such as SONATRACH, EPE FERROVIAL SPA, SIM AGRO SPA, SNVI, GROUP SIAD, TASSILI AIRLINES, ARTABAS, HIDRA HYDRAULIQUE and etc.
Within the framework of the business program of the Mission, a solemn opening ceremony was held, at the end of which the participants continued their work in B2B groups on industry areas in the format of the "Business Contacts Exchange": industry, energy, agriculture, chemical industry, information technology, design and construction of engineering facilities and structures , water supply and water treatment, fertilizer production, logistics, agro-industrial sector, shipbuilding, automotive, helicopter, road production but construction equipment etc.. targeted B2B meetings were organized in order to establish direct contacts between Russian and Algerian companies to present future projects and opportunities for cooperation.
