On October 5, the Russian-Arab Investment Forum was organized by the Saudi Fund SAGIA, the Russian-Arab Business Council, the Russian Direct Investment Fund with the support of the Council of the Chamber of Industrialists of Saudi Arabia, and with the participation of Arabia-EXPO. It was attended by at least 200 companies, including the world's largest oil producer Saudi Aramco, as well as Russian Gazprom Neft, SIBUR, and Aeroflot. Issues were discussed: in particular, entering the arms market with a package of contracts worth three billion dollars.
The Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation A. Novak, Minister of Economic Development M. Oreshkin, Minister of Trade and Investments of Saudi Arabia M. Al-Kasabi, Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources Khalid Al-Falih addressed the plenary part of the Forum.
In the presence of high guests, investment licenses were issued and a number of contracts were signed.
Further, within the framework of the Forum, three open discussions were organized on three sections: mutual investment, industry and localization, and agriculture and food security.
